Heavy metal screening for urban agriculture
We offer inexpensive soil heavy metal screening for farms and gardens. Heavy metal screening is recommended for sites that are:
- Within 10 feet of a current or former structure that was built before 1960, or
- Have an unknown history.
Your results will include lead, arsenic, and camium concentrations, an interpretation and recommendations (Example Report). Selenium, mercury, zinc, copper, and nickel are also evaluated and reported if contamination is found. Nutrient testing can be included with a heavy metal screen. To order testing, see the Sample Submission page.
